With HMRC publishing draft notices for MTD this summer, many are seeking more details than have been provided in government guidance. Many are dissatisfied with the way the new system has been rolled out, so I'm curious to know if you think the government should have broader consultations with the accounting community than it has already. Would this improve MTD as a flagship reform program by putting professionals in the driver's seat? Is there a better way to ameliorate the situation?
