I was delighted to host today's Cybersecurity webinar with Rob Shapland from Falanx Cyber. It was an eye-opening session, one we couldn't have hosted without our members, so a big thank you goes out to all those who joined us! Rob had no shortage of insights and personal experiences to share, so we thought we would share some of the key takeaways: -The biggest thing Rob said we should take away from this session was two-factor authentication (2FA). This added layer of security is often a strong deterrent that keeps hackers at bay. -Beware of your social footprint and the ease with which criminals can access it. The first thing Rob does when mimicking hackers is to check LinkedIn and other social media platforms to see what key information he can find out about a person. -Rob urged us all to use full sentences for passwords instead of forgettable numbers and letters. Sentences are much harder to guess and easier to remember. Missed the session? We will shortly be uploading the full recording for you to view in the Exclusive Content section of the Club, which you can find in the dropdown menu in the top right on the web, and on the bottom right in the app.
