Grant Thornton makes an interesting point in their report, ‘Engaging Global Talent’: a more flexible team is a more global team. Everyone has seen how COVID has forced previously hesitant companies to introduce hybrid and work-from-home flexibility, with 45% of mid-market businesses introducing these frameworks in 2021. We are now in a situation where not everyone needs to be online simultaneously, making it easier to build global teams and to service clients worldwide but not without challenges either. One of the report's bottom lines is that the best employees can work from anywhere, and companies should in theory have an easier time securing vital skills. Has the pandemic made your hiring experience better or worse and why?
